Recently on a cruise (July 2-9) from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with stops at Key West and Bimini Island (Bahamas) and back to starting point, my special moment was watching the sun silently spread its golden light, waking up the watery expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. Silence all around punctuated with the swish and swirl of the gentle waves.
I stood on the viewing deck for a few moments. It was me and my thoughts….a comforting feel.

I’ve never done cruising so not really in a position to judge, but I’ve always wanted to see the Florida Keys, Indra. I always imagined the drive down would be like ‘walking on water’. Maybe best left to my imagination! Nice to have the deck to yourself xx
Early morning very few people are around. We saw the tip in Key West from where Cuba is 90 miles. Sea travel is not for me.
Indra, even before seeing the photos, I felt the quiet hours you were experiencing simply by your opening paragraph. How sublime the moment was!
Thank you
Beautifully captured Indra. I can imagine exactly how you felt!
Thank you
