An interesting and intriguing topic. Peace is in our thoughts. We can be anywhere, any place, near or far and feel at peace if our minds are still and receptive to our surroundings.

My ‘happy’ place is where the waves steal the sands or play footsie with the rocks. ( Allahabad, the beaches of Goa, Maldives, Cancun, Mumbai, PEI)

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. —Khalil Gibran

…. when watching the sun color the skies in pleasantness (Calgary).

Every sunrise is a poem written on the earth with words of light, warmth, and love.– Debasish Mridha

Peace of mind is bidding adieu to the setting sun knowing that it will rise again with whispers of a better day.

The sky takes on shades of orange during sunrise and sunset, the colour that gives you hope that the sun will set only to rise again.– Ram Charan

  1. I feel the peacefulness with your words and your photos. The beach is a respite for. so many of us. The sunrise and sunset do indeed whisper, don’t they? And I love that you included a snowy path.
