It started as a whim. ‘But what will be your focus’?…A tough question as the possibilities roiled in my cranium.
I could do Interviews (throwback to my journalistic journey) Book Reviews (reassert my take on best sellers & prize winners) Self Help ( not viable) , Travel and with the last I nailed it.
Tentative steps and name changers later Travtrails came into existence The journey continues, mindful of content and unmindful of followers. The focus was to take the reader, you, along on exhilarating creative journeys through hills and dales, deserts and seascapes, villages and urban spaces in the hope you too will enjoy as much as I do.
Ten years on and it has been a learning process, an entitlement because to me Life is travel, literally and figuratively and I love it.
The last two Covid years have been a collective strain on all of us and now as the skies and the waterways open up I do not want to be caught napping because to quote Ibn Batuta “Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”
